Meet Entwine Performing Arts School directors, Lynn Redmond and Laura McDonagh;

Lynn Redmond, Grad. Dip, I.S.T.D., I.T.E.C.

Lynn started her dance path at the age of 3 with Catherine Keeble Dance, from there she has trained with many stage schools including, Helen Jordon, Diggs Lane Freestyle, Star Struck Stage School with Julien Benson and finally at Westside Performing Arts where she won Student of the year. Lynn performed on many TV shows as a child such as the BB Baskin Big Top Show with Dickie Rock, Michael Barrymore “My kind of people”, RTE Disney kids morning show, as well as featuring in Tv Adverts for Bank of Ireland.

Lynn went on to further her training at the North London Dance Studios where she graduated with a National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre. Shortly after graduating Lynn was awarded her first of many contracts with Costa Cruise Lines. She has performed in many countries during her time with Costa where she visited such places as the French & American Caribbean, Mediterranean, Adriatic, Transatlantic and South America regions as part of her profession.

Lynn has also worked onboard Irish Ferries as a Dancer in the “Wilde Nights Cabaret”, “Our House” in the Olympia and on several film productions in Ireland including the Bollywood Movie “EK THA TIGER”. Lynn has performed with Theatreworx Productions in various pantomimes such as Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty and  Jack and the Beanstalk at the Helix Theatre. She has performed with Leixlip Musical & Variety Group on many occasions including their Musical “West Side Story” which won Best overall show at A.I.M.S. Lynn has  performed Off Broadway in the Rave theatre Festival in 2019 with ” Big Shot the Musical” as Dancer/ Ensemble.

She has choreographed for various stage schools through out the years and in August 2016 choreographed “The Big Shot” Musical for the Camden Fringe Festival in London. She currently teaches for Theatreworx, and Phoenix Performing Arts College, Ireland’s performing arts college for those who want to train and further their career in the industry.

Lynn is also qualified as an ITEC Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer, RIAM Musical theatre & ISTD Modern 


Laura McDonagh, Grad. Dip, B.A.T.D., I.S.T.D. 

Laura began her training in Dublin with the Metropolitan School of Dance and Westside Stage School. Laura has trained extensively in Dance, Choreography and all aspects of Musical Theatre. She has over 10yrs teaching and Choreography experience specialising in Ballet, Modern and Commercial, and has worked extensively as a Professional Dancer, Teacher, Director and Choreographer. Laura holds a Graduate Diploma in Dance from North London Dance Studio, has an Associate in Modern Dance with the B.A.T.D, a Foundation in Dance Instruction with I.S.T.D. and has completed a yearlong internship at New York’s Broadway Dance Centre. Training camps include Impulstanz Dance festival Vienna, Jacobs Pillow New York, HDI London And Fly Intensive Dublin. 

Laura’s professional career has taken her throughout Ireland, the UK and America. Her credits include, a supporting role in ‘Albert Landers’ by the Luke Thompson Production Company in London, ‘Everybody Dance Now’ a Talent TV production for ITV, as a Dancer in ‘Ek the Tiger’ a Bollywood production and part of the Ellements Dance group in London. Laura has performed on Irish stages which include the Olympia Theatre, the RDS, the Helix, the Tivoli, Cork, Waterford, Wexford Opera House and the Bord Gais Theatre. She has also appeared in the Oscar Wilde Cabaret for Irish Ferries as Dance Captain. Dancing with Pony Panto and Cadburys Chorusline dancers at Christmas time. Second Place at World of Dance and First Place at HHI with Fly Dance Company in 2016. Most Recent Credits include Touring with Rebecca O Conor for the past 2 years on her Irish tour. Laura also performed on the royal Carribean cruise ship with the Back To The 80’s show alongside this Tina Turner tribute show. 

Laura has worked extensively as a Teacher and Choreographer for Stage Schools and as a guest Choreographer in Ireland, the UK and America since 2007. Laura was Dance Director and Choreographer for Camp Blue Ridge in New York, has given ISTD lessons in Modern, Tap and Ballet and has built up years of Teaching and Choreography experience with schools including, Dancing with Louise, Future Faces and Graystons Theatre School in the UK, along with Westside Stage School, Brennan’s Performing Arts and Steptacular Performing Arts in Ireland. Laura has also taught in both Primary and Secondary Schools throughout Dublin, along with Guest Tutor in both Bull Alley Performing Arts College and Sallynoggin College. Laura’s Choreography experience includes, Productions of Annie, Grease, Variety Shows and Festivals in the UK along with Performance Projects in the Broadway Dance Centre. Irish based credits consist of, Youth Dance Festival Dun Laoghaire, Mill Theatre Dundrum Pantos and End of Year Showcases. TV work includes Music Video Choreography for Irish Singer-Songwriters, the Animated RSA Advert and the current Bin It Campaign. Laura’s most recent work includes Zak Productions ‘Gotta Make that Train’ and ‘You Don’t Bring me Flowers’ in the Tivoli Theatre, Choreographing for Junior and Senior Elite Teams winning titles at Spectrum HipHop Championship, Vad Productions Belfast and Vad Productions Blackpool Grand Final. Laura has also judged at a WLDF event and at the All Ireland Variety Show heat in the Tivoli Theatre in 2015.
